PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a negative electrode material for a lithium secondary battery most efficiently by using carbon material powder as raw material. SOLUTION: Ground and carbonized carbon powder which is carbon material for a negative electrode of a lithium secondary battery is used as raw material, and first molding with volume density of 1.2-1.8 g/cm is made by compression molding using a mold. After graphitizing the aforementioned molding by heating inductively up to not less than 2,000 deg.C, it is ground. |
