PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a toner density adjusting method to control a toner dispenser by recognizing a high developing level and a copying background in a printing device. SOLUTION: In a state where a developing device is in an off-mode, reflectance value of the 1st clean (cleaning) image forming surface is read at a part of an image forming surface and stored as reference (124). Next, in a state where the developing device is in an on-mode, the reflectance value of the 2nd clean image forming surface is read (126) and compared with that of the 1st image forming surface (128). Then, the toner dispenser is controlled in accordance with the difference between them (132). |
