PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable power supply to a load, even if the power feeding function of an AC power source adaptor stops by service interruption etc., by adding a backup power advice to an adaptor body. SOLUTION: A battery terminal 11 is formed on one side of a cam-operated coder 10. When an AC power source adaptor is used for a cam-operated coder in the curse of collecting data, the plug 14 of a power cable 13 is inserted into a plug socket for AC power sources, and an adaptor 12 is fitted to the battery terminal 11 of the cam-operated coder 10. Then a DC output outputted from the converter circuit of the adaptor 12 is supplied to a load when a secondary battery 16 is fitted to secondary battery connecting terminals 15, charging is performed to an extent capable of compensating the self discharge of the secondary battery 16 supplying power to the load. Power is supplied from the secondary battery 16, since the power supplying function of the adaptor 10 lowers, when the plug 14 of the power cable 13 comes off from an AC plug socket in the cource of collecting data, or when power fails. Consequently, it becomes possible to prevent the interruption of the load. |
