An angle at which a partial light beam L34 passes through the small lens 132u passes through an area to be illuminated 252a is different from an angle at which a partial light beam L44 passes through the small lens 132d passes through the area to be illuminated 252a. Consequently, a dark line generated by each partial beam is generated on a different position on a projection screen and made inconspicuous. |
