摘要

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a transparent magnetic recording medium having magnetic recording layers provided with sure magnetic input/output performance and transparency in combination. SOLUTION: At least one layer on the magnetic recording layer side of the magnetic recording medium having at least one layer of the magnetic recording layers contg. magnetic material particles on a base contains inorg. particles and/or org. resin particles. The surface roughness of the magnetic recording layers is specified to >=5 to <=30 nm in Rq. The number of surface projections consisting of particles exclusive of the magnetic particles per 100μm<2> of the magnetic recording layers is specified to >=30 pieces and the haze degree to <90%.
