Oscillation dampening device for disc brake linings

The dampening device (1) is positioned on a plate between the brake lining and brake piston and has a cylindrical absorber element (3), moving with friction in a bore (7) in the brake piston (2). It has internal inset mass bodies (9) in a temperature-stable highly-viscous medium (10). The spherical masses are at relative distances and consist of lead or copper. The absorber element is screwed via an internal thread (22) to a threaded element (12) on the plate (11). The plate may carry two absorber elements for two neighbouring brake pistons and has adhesive foil (14) on one side.
