Signal processing and transmission device

The device includes an interface (SC) for the connection of a separate telephone unit. The interface comprises six connections (1 - 6) which are connected respectively with a conductor (lC - 6C) for the transmission of signals. The first and the second conductors transfer respectively two types of signals. The first conductor serves preferably for the transmission of sound signals received by a connected telephone unit, and of condition signals. The condition signals determine a first or second operating mode of the connected telephone unit.
