PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a heat sensitive recording material which is free from texture stains and excellent in the texture and shelf life of an image while it is the heat sensitive recording material using a specific color developing pigment which develops red. SOLUTION: 3-dialkylamino-7-phenylfluoran represented by the formula is used as a color developing pigment. In the formula, R<1> means a 2-6C alkyl group, and R<2> means 4 or 5C alkyl group. |
