PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a thermal recording material having excellent preservability. SOLUTION: In the thermal recording material comprising a thermal color developing layer provided on a support, the layer contains composite fine particles manufactured by expediting polymerization reaction of polyvalent isocyanate compound after solution containing polyvalent isocyanate compound as solvent and dye precursor as solute is emulsion dispersed in water, and at least one type of diphenyl sulfide compound of a formula is contained as color developable compound. In the formula, X indicates independently hydrogen atom, hydroxyl group, 1-8C alkyl group, nitro group or halogen atom, Y indicates independently hydrogen atom, hydroxyl group, 1-8C alkyl group, nitro group or halogen atom, m indicates integer of 1 to 4, and n indicates integer of 1 to 5. |
