FIELD: medicine, dermatology, pharmacy. SUBSTANCE: pharmaceutical composition has castor oil and methylcellulose derivative as a lipophilic-hydrophylic base, and sodium benzoate and succinic acid also. Pharmaceutical composition is prepared by mixing hydrophilic part of ointment base that consists of methylcellulose derivative and sodium benzoate with lipophilic part of ointment base that consists of castor oil, distilled monoglyceride and emulsifier. Then solution containing clotrimazole or ketoconazole, succinic acid and preserving agent in suitable solvent are added. Composition is used for treatment of patients with different skin and mucosa mycosis. Composition increases drug release, decreases allergic and sensitizing effects.
