PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain the subject receptor comprising a chimera receptor having an N-terminal domain, a DNA binding domain and a ligand binding domain, and useful for diagnosis, etc., by measurement of retinoic acid as the receptor of the retinoic acid which is a material concerning vitamin A. SOLUTION: This receptor is a chimera receptor having an N-terminal domain, a DNA binding domain and a ligand binding domain, and the each domain is derived from a well-known receptor selected from a common group of parent type receptors comprising hGR, hMR, hERR1, hERR2, rTRα, hT3α, hT3β, hRAAα and hRARβ. The arbitrary one chimera receptor has the N-terminal domain, the DNA-combining domain and the ligand binding domain derived from at least two different parent type sources. Thereby, the chimera receptor is a new chimera receptor not same as the each wild type receptor and used for detection of an antagonist against the retinoic acid receptor, assay for diagnosis for determining the level of retinoic acid present in an organism. |
