PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a gas residual amount monitoring device monitoring a gas residual amount in a gas cylinder common to respective houses of an apartment house and a two families house and notifying the respective houses of the residual amount when it reaches a warning level. SOLUTION: A residual amount management means 301a-3 makes a metering value read means 301a-1 read the metering values of gas meters 311 -31n at previously decided time at least once a day. A difference between the metering value which an operation means 301a-4 reads and a previous metering value corresponding to the metering value is calculated. The calculated differences on all gas meters 311 -31n are added. Then, the added value is added to a residual amount management counter 301d-1. A judgement means 301a-5 compares the counter value of the residual amount management counter 301d-1 with plural residual amount management warning levels stored in a warning level storage means 301d-2. Whenever the counter value is judged to exceed the warning level, the effect is informed to a designated notifying destination by a notifying means 302.
