发明名称 THERMAL TRANSFER SHEET AND IMAGE FORMING METHOD
摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a thermal transfer sheet having an excellent dot quality and giving an image approximate to a print, and an image forming method using this sheet. SOLUTION: A thermal transfer sheet having on a substrate an ink layer which contains a pigment of 20-35 wt.% and amorphous resin of 50-80 wt.% of which the softening point measured by a ring and ball method (JIS K2207) is in a temperature range of 50-150 deg.C, and which has a layer thickness in the range of 3-1.0 μm and satisfies the following conditions. The sheet is made a single sheet of a film thickness 200 μm and it is broken in the range of 60-120 deg.C when it is extended, being heated at a speed of temperature rise of 2 deg.C/min., under the conditions of a static tension 20 g and a forced vibration frequency 9.8 Hz.
