PARKING MANAGEMENT SYSTEM

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a parking management system of an individual management type which can surely collect the parking rates and also can be applied to a parking lot for large-sized vehicles. SOLUTION: The CCD cameras C1 to Cn are prepared for the parking areas 1 to (n) respectively in a parking lot. A vehicle number recognizer 10 recognizes the numbers of parking vehicles based on the images of the cameras C1 to Cn. The recognized vehicle numbers are stored in a parking table 22a together with the entering times, the adjustment times and the adjustment amounts of vehicles. Based on the information stored in the table 22a, the leaving of parking vehicles are managed. Then the wrong use information on the vehicles which leave the parking lot without paying the parking rates are stored in a non-payment table 22b.
