PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a molded object for decomposing ozone excellent in ozone decomposition capacity and having fire retardancy and capable of being produced easily and rapidly. SOLUTION: A material containing 5-70 wt.% of manganese oxide in terms of MnO and 5-70 wt.% of Al(OH)3 is subjected to extrusion molding and dried without being baked to obtain a product. Further, a silicate compd. is added in an amt. of 2-70 wt.% in terms of SiO2 and manganese oxide is 10-60 wt.% in terms of MnO and Al(OH)3 is pref. 10-60 wt.%. |
