<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a MIM(metal-insulator-metal) type nonlinear element that has a sufficiently small element capacitance, has a sufficiently large sharpness in voltage-current characteristics, and a small change in voltage-current characteristics with time, a nonaqueous formation liquid for manufacturing the MIM-type nonlinear element, and a manufacturing method using the formation liquid. SOLUTION: A non-aqueous formation liquid contains an organic solvent, a dissolved substance, and water, the above dissolved substance contains at least tungstate, and the above water is contained in a ratio of 1-10 wt.%. The above tungstate is preferably ammonium tungstate. An MIM-type nonlinear element is formed by anode oxidation where the insulation film uses the above non-aqueous formation liquid.</p> |
