PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a digital broadcast system in which it is easy to find a broadcast scheduled data and time of a program and eliminates the possibility of missing the program when a desired program is broadcasted. SOLUTION: This system consists of a digital broadcast receiver 7 that is installed at each house 1 and a digital broadcast transmitter that is installed at a broadcast station 2. The receiver 7 shows a list of plural programs on a monitor screen in accordance with a program request operation and sends the identification data of a program which is picked up from the list as request data to the station 2. On the other hand, the digital broadcast transmitter of the station 2 decides a program to be broadcasted in accordance with request data sent from each house 1, generates a mail including the broadcast data and time and sends it to the house 1 which sent the request.
