PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ink jet recording apparatus capable of removing fine air bubbles while ensuring the good flow of an ink liquid to prevent the non- ejection of the ink liquid and capable of avoiding scaling-up of the apparatus. SOLUTION: A filter 42 attached to an ink introducing port 16 is constituted of a fiber sintered sheet obtained by sintering staple fibers in a sheet form. Since the fiber sintered sheet has more fine gaps even if the average pore size thereof is equal to that of a woven sheet, even if one having an average pore size equal to that of a conventional woven sheet, that is, having flow resistance capable of ensuring the good flow of an ink liquid is used, more fine air bubbles can be trapped. |
