PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a high voltage power supply device in which the power consumption of the base circuits of high withstanding voltage transistors can be reduced. SOLUTION: If a transistor Tr11 is controlled by a control circuit K11 and turned off, the collector potential of the transistor Tr11 is elevated, the emitter potential of a transistor Tr12 is also elevated, a current from a reference potential source E12 is not applied to the base of the transistor Tr12, and the transistor Tr12 is turned off. If the transistor Tr11 is controlled by the control circuit K11 and turned on, the collector potential of the transistor Tr11 is lowered, the emitter potential of the transistor Tr12 is also lowered, the current from the reference potential source E12 is applied to the base of the transistor Tr12, and the transistor Tr12 is turned on. Thus, the currents of the transistors Tr11 and Tr12 are controlled by the control circuit K11, the voltage drop of a resistor R11 is controlled, and the voltage of an output terminal Vout is controlled. |
