<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To recover dust in a dry state by mixing exhaust gas of an incinerating furnace with spraying cooling liquid while swirling the gas, quickly cooling the gas to predetermined temperature and separating the dust in the gas, thereby suppressing exhausting concentration of dioxins. SOLUTION: The exhaust gas of an incinerating furnace is introduced into a spraying cooling chamber 5, mixed with cooling liquid sprayed the chamber 15 while giving swirling flow to the gas. Thus, the gas is quickly cooled to predetermined temperature or lower, and dust contained in the gas is separated in a dry state. In this case, gas velocity from a gas distribution chamber 21 disposed at an upstream side of the chamber 15 is preferably 10 to 50 m/sec, and swirling velocity of the gas is preferably 1 to 30 rad/sec. And, it is preferable to quickly cool the gas of inlet temperature of (350 to 900 deg.C) to (80 to 250 deg.C) of outlet temperature. Further, the liquid is sprayed to mean particle size of 20 to 130μm, and its spraying angle is preferably 5 to 130 degrees.</p> |
