Extractor means (3, 4) for a frame or unit (1) for telecommunication equipment, intended to be fastened at its two opposite vertical sides to a vertical equipment rack (2) is provided. The extractor means comprises first extractor members (3) removably fastened to fixing projections (1a) on said opposite sides of the frame (1) and second extractor members (4) removably fixed to the outer surfaces of the rack (2) that face said fixing projections (1a) at the location of the first extractor members (3), the first extractor member (3) being adapted on each side of said arrangement to be supported by the second extractor member (4) and to be slidable relative thereto. The use of members (3, 4) enables the frame (1) to be positional in a pulled forward position eg for wiring without the need of a second person to support it. When the frame is pushed back and mounted on rack (2) members (3, 4) may be removed. <IMAGE> |
