PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a power output system for outputting power efficiently from a prime mover to a drive shaft by switching connection of the rotary shaft of a motor between the output shaft of the prime mover and the drive shaft in which connection of the shaft is switched smoothly. SOLUTION: Power from an engine 50 is outputted to a drive shaft 22 while being converted into a desired power through a clutch motor 30 having rotors 31, 33 coupled, respectively, with a crankshaft 56 and the drive shaft 22, and an assist motor 40 connected with the crankshaft 56 or the drive shaft 22 through both clutches 45, 46. Connection of the assist motor 40 is switched through a state where both clutches 45, 46 are turned on when the revolution of the engine 50 matches that of the drive shaft 22. According to the arrangement, fluctuation of torque being outputted to the drive shaft 22 can be suppressed in switching and a power can be outputted to the drive shaft 22 even during switching. |
