The invention concerns a motor vehicle exhaust pipe attachment, comprising a top fitting to be secured to the vehicle body and a bottom fitting to be secured to an exhaust pipe generally extending in the vehicle longitudinal direction X, said two fittings being mutually linked by an elastic system. Said attachment comprises a spider (3) made of massive shaped elastic material and oriented such that its transverse cross section through a transverse plane perpendicular to said longitudinal direction X has globally the shape of a St. Andrew's cross whereof the ends of the four branches are secured, two of them (3a, 3b) to said top fitting (4), and the other two (3'a, 3'b) to said bottom fitting (8), said spider (3) being enclosed by at least a flexible ring (10, 11, 12a, 12b) having tensile strength limiting its deformation.
