PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To optionally set a pipe bonding location to a tank section by a method wherein a recessed part is provided at respective bent parts between the upper wall and both side walls of a tank constituent member having cross sectional surface of a U-shape, and a flat part which extends in the longitudinal direction of the tank portion is formed on the upper wall which is located between the recessed parts on both sides. SOLUTION: A recessed part 11 is provided at respective bent parts between the upper wall 7 and both side walls 8 of a tank constituent member 6 for a tank section 2 of this heat-exchanger 1. Then, a flat part 13 extending in the longitudinal direction of the tank section, and having a width by which pipes 12a, 12b for the circulation of a heat-exchanging medium, is formed on the upper wall 7 located between the recessed parts 11 on both sides. The number of the recessed parts 11 is optionally set in response to the length of the tank section 2, etc. Thus, the recessed parts on both sides are provided at locations which are confronted with each other in the width direction of the tank section, the pressure resistance is effectively improved. Also, a high degree of freedom can be provided at the pipe bonding locations. |
