PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent a ghost image from accompanying a reproduced image without the need for axis deviation by providing a reproduced image arithmetic means which constitutes object wave data with phase data on an object wave calculated by an object wave arithmetic means and amplitude data on the object wave and converts the object wave data as specified to computer a reproduced image, etc. SOLUTION: A phase shift means 2 receives an indication from a phase shift control means 8 and shifts the phase of a reference wave 11 to three different phase values. Then reference waves 11 which are set to the three phase values and the object wave 17 are put one over another to irradiate a CCD image sensor 3 at the same time, and thus hologram image data 20 are generated. Then the reproduced image arithmetic means 7 constitutes the object wave data 21 with the phase data and amplitude data on the object wave 17 calculated by the object wave arithmetic means 6 and performs Fresnel transformation to calculate the reproduced image. This object wave data 21 are converted to calculate the reproduced image to prevent a ghost image from accompanying the reproduced image without the need for axis deviation.
