<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To produce a color toner from a pigment master batch with good production efficiency of the pigment master batch and to obtain a stable toner which does not cause changes in the mol.wt. distribution and offset property among the production lots. SOLUTION: This toner is produced by preliminarily dispersing a coloring agent to prepare a coloring agent master batch, melting and kneading the coloring agent master batch with a main resin, pulverizing and classifying the kneaded material. The main resin is prepared to have at least a low mol.wt. component having <1×10<5> mol.wt. and a high mol.wt. component having >=1×10<5> mol.wt. The resin used for the coloring agent master batch substantially consists of only the low mol.wt. component of the main resin.</p> |
