<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a yellow developer having excellent light-transmitting property and color reproducibility by incorporating negative charge nonmagnetic toner particles containing each specified binder resin and plural compds. into a yellow developer. SOLUTION: This yellow developer is used to form a full-color image to reproduce a multicolored image, and the yellow developer contains negative charge nonmagnetic toner particles containing a binder resin having 1 to 30 KOHmg/g acid value, a compd. classified as a pigment yellow 180 and at least one kind of compd. selected from compd. expressed by formula I and formula II. In formulae I, II, X is a cation, n is an integer 1 or 2. In this method, a yellow toner containing C.I. pigment yellow 180 has such characteristics with excellent light-transmitting property and color reproducibility. Since the toner has excellent resistance against light and heat, it does not decompose to produce a harmful substance even when the toner is heated in the production process or fixing process of the toner, and the toner has excellent safeness.</p> |
