Reusable wedge for holding vehicle windscreen

The reusable wedge (1) is for holding a vehicle fixed windscreen (59) in position relative to the windscreen frame (61). It comprises a body (3) having temporary fixings (9) to hold the wedge on the windscreen frame. A rod (5) which is movable orthogonally to the lower edge of the windscreen slides in the wedge body between a retracted position and an active engagement position with the lower edge of the windscreen. A locking lever (7) for the rod engages the windscreen lower edge.
