Moving image generation method

The image generation method has image points (BP), arranged in a number of rows (ZZ) and columns (SS) within an image plane, supplied with information which varies over time for displaying a moving image. The image iinformation may be provided as radiation signals, e.g. light rays, with simultaneous generation of the image information for the columns within at least one row, with a 90 degree deflection of the radiation signals in the viewing direction.
