PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily obtain diversified three-dimensional patterns excellent in washing durability without impairing soft feel of touch by pattern-toned printing of a specific sizing agent on an animal hair-based textile fabric followed by conducting a felting treatment under specific conditions. SOLUTION: An animal hair-based textile fabric of e.g. sheep, camel origin is printed with a sizing agent when subjected to insolubilization by reaction with formaldehyde (e.g. polyvinyl alcohol) in a pattern-toned fashion, subjected to vapor phase processing by formaldehyde or imparted with a formaldehyde- contg. dispersion, and then heat-treated. Subsequently, the resultant textile fabric is put to felting treatment, thus accomplishing the objective three- dimensional pattern processing of the textile fabric. |
