PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a new protein comprising a protein, having a specific amino acid sequence, in which expression is induced by a chemical inducing acquired resistance of a plant, capable of providing rice transforming plant body, etc., having resistance to rice blast disease. SOLUTION: This new protein has an amino acid sequence in which one or several amino acids are replaced, lost or added in a protein described in the formula or in amino acid sequence in the protein and induces expression by a chemical inducing acquired resistance of a plant, and a rice transforming plant body, etc., having resistance to rice blast disease can be created by introducing the gene. The protein is obtained by comparing mRNA expressed in the case treating a plant such as rice with a medicine inducing required resistance of a plant, e.g. 3-allyloxy-1,2-benzoisothiazole/1,1-dioxide (probenazole) with mRNA expressed in the case not treating the plant with the chemical and isolating a gene having difference and integrating the gene into a vector and expressing the gene in a host cell. |
