PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To interrupt a load transmission path from parts around a vehicular pedal to the vehicular pedal when an external force not smaller than a predetermined value works from in front of the vehicle. SOLUTION: A bracket 54 which is made lower in rigidity at its upper edge than at its lower edge is interposed between a dash panel 16 and a brake booster 22. Further, a through hole in a crevice pin 70 by which a crevice 64 in the end of a push rod 42 projecting from the brake booster 22 is coupled to a brake pedal 10 is a notched part of a predetermined shape. Therefore, when an external force not smaller than a predetermined value works on a master cylinder 24 and the brake booster 22 from in front of the vehicle, the bracket 54 is deformed, rotating and displacing the brake booster 22 almost toward the underside of the vehicle. Then the crevice pin 70 is released from the notched part of the brake pedal 10. Therefore, a load transmission path is interrupted. |
