<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To invariably keep a small distance between a component shelf and a worker by providing a means controlling the drive of the wheels of the component shelf based on the detection signal so that the worker is located at the center section in the traveling direction along the line of the component shelf. SOLUTION: When a worker moves to the front side of a component shelf 1 from the initial state that a central fixed position detecting sensor 9a detects the worker and enters the detection range of an advance detecting sensor 9b, the component shelf 1 is self-propelled in the flow direction of a line at an intermediate speed. When the positional relation with the worker is changed as a result of the self-travel and an advance intermediate detecting sensor 9d detects the worker in place of the advance detecting sensor 9b, the self-propelling speed becomes a low speed. When the fixed position detecting sensor 9a detects the worker in place of the advance intermediate detecting sensor 9d, the component shelf 1 is stopped at this position. The positional relation with the worker is invariably kept at a constant small distance at the center section of the component shelf.</p> |
