<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve resistance against heat and pressure of a mouth to prevent the mouth from shrinking and deforming due to heat sterilization at a high temperature by forming a bottle body of specific polyester with a relatively low glass transition point while forming the mouth of specific polyester with a relatively high glass transition point. SOLUTION: A mouth of a drink bottle requiring resistance against heat and pressure at the time of heat-sterilizing contents is of a cylindrical piece made of polyester A whose glass transition point is 90 to 190 deg.C, while a body is formed of polyester E whose glass transition point is 75 to 90 deg.C. Polyester containing a structural unit indicated by a formula I and a structural unit indicated by a formula II as main contents is used as the polyester A, B. In the formulae, Ar<1> and Ar<2> refer to benzene rings wherein alkyl radicals or the like can substitute for the benzene rings while X refers to a methylene radical, a sulfonyl radical, a carbonyl radical, a sulfur atom or the like wherein methyl radicals can substitute for hydrogen atoms in the methylene radical.</p> |
