METHOD AND DEVICE FOR ULTRAFILTRATION IN BLOOD DIALYSIS

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a blood dialyzing method and device using ultrafiltration. SOLUTION: Measurements of the amount of ultrafiltration in blood dialysis filtration are made by an equilibrium chamber 25 separated into two equilibrium semi-chambers 25a, 25b by a movable bulkhead 24. Both of the equilibrium semi-chambers are filled with a used dialysis fluid and a new dialysis fluid alternately, and the content of one equilibrium semichamber is discharged each time the other chamber is filled with the used or new dialysis fluid. The total volume of the equilibrium chamber 25 is utilized for measuring the amount of ultrafiltration or the amount of substitutional fluid.
