The automatic stop mechanism acts on a rotating electrical motor (3) which can rotate in either direction. In response to a motor stop action, an actioning finger (16) moves forward and releases a circuit breaker (29). Once the motor has stopped rotating, an automatic reset mechanism (16) sets the contact between the switch and the actioning finger.
