<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electrostatic charge image developing binary developer and the image forming method free from toner scattering and superior in rising of charge by using the binary developer comprising a toner containing a binder resin and a colorant and a specified charge controller and a carrier coated with polyolefin specified in sphericiry. SOLUTION: This binary developer comprises the polyolefin-coated carrier having a sphericity of 1.0-20.0 and the toner comprising the binder resin and the colorant and the charge controller represented by the formula in which (n) is an integer of 4-12; and each of R1 -R5 is, independently, an H or halogen atom or an alkyl group or the like or one of these derivatives, thus permitting the obtained developer to ensure a necessary charge control power, while maintaining the toner restraining effect of the carrier and accordingly to prevent occurrence of image stains due to scattering of the toner at the time of image formation in a high level.</p> |
