The invention relates to a PCMCIA card with an antenna, an HF-DECT transceiver, a control device and a pin-and-socket connector device. Said control device has a data flow and control logic which is capable of converting data received via the pin-and-socket connector device into a variety of formats or protocols so that data already on the card can be converted into the format or protocol required for the service which said data is intended for and the converted data can be made available to the HF-DECT transceiver. Said HF-DECT transceiver then transmits said converted data via the antenna in the form of DECT-standard HF signals. |
