PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To form a uniform bead in a short time, and to provide sufficient bonding strength by providing an electric heating body on a pipe end face or in the vicinity thereof, and forming a fused part to be the pipe end face. SOLUTION: An electric heating body 3 such as a Nichrome wire and a carbon fiber sheet is embedded in the vicinity of a pipe end face 2 of a resin pipe 1 by one turn along the pipe circumference, and an end part of the electric heating body 3 is projected outside the resin pipe 1 for energization. The pipe end face 2 of the resin pipe 1 is butted to a pipe end face of a resin pipe 4 without the electric heating body 3, the electric heating body 3 is energized, and the pipe end face 2 is heated and fused for welding. The electric heating body 3 is not removed after heating, but left behind on a fused part 5 after welding. Because the removing work of the electric heating body 3 is dispensed with, pipes are welded in a short time, and the fused end face is not deformed, forming a uniform bead. Because the molten resin at the end face to be bonded is not exposed to the atmosphere, the bonding strength is neither degraded nor non-uniform. |
