<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent deterioration of an image quality to the utmost when image data is to be recorded. SOLUTION: In this apparatus, a chart for measuring a resolution is outputted to each of a plurality of print heads (S31). The real resolution of each of the print heads is measured (S32). A target resolution is set in order to equalize the resolution of each of the print heads at that time or a target resolution is set based on the resolution of one of the print heads (S33). Expansion or contraction processing of image data for each of the print heads is executed in order to match the real resolution with the target resolution so that the apparent resolution is changed (S34). After the setting, the image data is actually inputted (S35) to execute pixel compensation (S36). The is recorded on an image recording medium without creating position shift of pixels (S37).</p> |
