PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To protect a cable mechanically and electrically. SOLUTION: A protector 11 for a wiring is so formed as to comprise a first mat 12, a second mat 13 and a protective panel 14 shaped like a thin sheet. The first mat 12 has flexible and electrically insulative properties and contains a gas sealing space wherein air is sealed. The second mat 13 has the flexible and electrically insulative properties and fitted firmly in a state of lamination on the first mat 12. The protective panel 14 has the flexible and electrically insulative properties and is interlaid between the first and the second mats 12 and 13. Accordingly, a high shock-absorbing effect is obtained and mechanical protection of a cable can be attained by the air in the first mat 12 and by shock absorption by the protective panel 14, while electrical protection of the cable can be attained by the electrical insulation by the air and by the electrically insulative properties of the protective panel 14 and the first and the second mats 12 and 13. |
