<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To estimate the arrival direction of a wave even when a plurality of correlated signals are inputted from a plurality of directions by dividing a plurality of conversion elements into a plurality of sub arrays where the greatest common divisor of an element interval is equal to or less than a half wave. SOLUTION: A plurality of conversion elements 11 , 12 ,..., 1n are divided into a plurality of sub arrays 1-3 as a converter array 11. The sub arrays 1-3 are arranged at an unequal interval so that the greatest common divisor of each element interval becomes a half wavelength or less and at the same time a plurality of sub arrays 1-3 are arranged at an unequal interval. In an A/D converter 12, an analog signal that is obtained by converting a wave is converted by A/D converters 21 , 22 ,..., 2n . A processor 13 stores the digital signal, performs spatial averaging using the stored data, and estimates the arrival direction of an input signal by performing a processing according to a specific high- resolution wave arrival direction estimation method, thus simultaneously and accurately obtaining the arrival direction of a plurality of correlated signals using a same converter.</p> |
