PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable communication while using the idle channel of other radio base station even when all the speech channels of one radio base station are busy by stopping the transmission of control signal from that radio base station when there is no idle channel. SOLUTION: When a radio base station 10 has three speech channels and PHS 41-43 are under speaking with the radio base station 10, all the speech channels are occupied and there is no idle channel so that the transmission of control signal is stopped by the system control part of radio base station 10. Since each radio base station is provided with a function for stopping the control signal when the idle channel is eliminated, even in the case of communication system having no line controller, the transmission of control signal is effectively stopped, the control signal from the other radio base station is received by each mobile radio terminal and the communication of these radio base stations through the idle speech channel can be started. |
