PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a document feeder capable of accurately putting a 'processed' mark on a document surface and efficiently processing many sheets of document, in consideration of the request of a composite image forming device. SOLUTION: The document feeder B is provided with a carrying means 6 for carrying the document to a reading part arranged on the upper surface of the image forming device A, and also, the feeder is provided with a discharging means 7 for receiving the document passing through the reading part and discharging the document to a discharge tray 8. In this case, the document surface of the document passing through the reading part is stamped by a stamping means 11. A time for operating the stamping means 11 is selected by a selecting means 15. The stamping means 11 is operated by a control means CPU while the document passes through the stamp position, and also, a document feeding speed in stamping the document by the stamping means 11 is varied by the control means CPU in accordance with the operating time of the stamping means 11 selected by the selecting means 15. |
