<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent unbalance mechanical life of an accessor with regard to a library device having plural picker parts in the accessor. SOLUTION: The library device has cells for housing cartridges, drive for reading/writing such a cartridge, a CAS for loading/ejecting the cartridge into/ from the library device, the accessor for carrying the cartridge and a device processing control part for controlling the library device. The accessor has plural buit-in pickers for the purpose of selecting/restoring the cartridge in relation to individual elements of the cell, the drive and the CAS, and the selecting/restoring of the cartridge is performed by using which one of the plural pickers in accordance with an instruction issued by the device processing control part corresponding to individual accumulated using amts of the plural pickers.</p> |
