Security mechanism for furniture chest opening protecting fingers when lifting

The mechanism has a lifting mechanism (1) which raises and lowers the chest. The lifting mechanism is remote controlled. There is a closing point contact and invertor (2) which senses when the lowering mechanism is near to the closed position. It slows the platform down and then switches the lowering mechanism off. There are luminous point contacts on the chest to indicate that it is open.
