PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sprite picture display controller capable of easily changing display priority orders of sprite pictures and in a short time. SOLUTION: This controller is provided with a first storage means 1 storing attribute data which are attribute data including display priority orders and which respectively correspond to plural sprite pictures to be displayed on one screen, a means 3 writing attribute data storage addresses for every sprite pictures of the first storage means 1 to a second storage means 5 in the order of the display priority orders of respective sprite pictures based on the display priority orders among the attribute data stored in the first storage means 1 and means 7, 11, 12 displaying respective sprite pictures in the display priority orders made to follow stored orders in the second storage means 5. Then, in the case of changing the display priority orders of the respective sprite pictures, data for sprite pictures stored in the second storage means 5 are permuted. |
