PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To exchange data without using an optical switch and to transmit data to which information of a transmission destination is not added. SOLUTION: An optical transmitter 1a or the like is provided with a transmission destination selection circuit 3a that selects a transmission destination of transmission data, a plurality of buffers 41a or the like that store the selected transmission data temporarily for each transmission destination, an electrooptic conversion circuit 51a or the like that converts respectively the data stored in the buffer 41a or the like to optical signals with different wavelength bands, and a transmission control circuit 6a that controls an optical output by the electrooptic conversion circuit 51a or the like in response to a state of the transmission data. A wavelength mixer 7 provides an output of optical signals with a different wavelength band from the optical transmitter 1a or the like to an optical fiber 10, a wavelength selector 8 selects the optical signals with a different wavelength band from the optical fiber 10 and provides an output of the selected signal to optical fibers 121 or the like which share a different wavelength band. An optical receiver 21 or the like is provided with a photoelectric conversion circuit 91 that converts the optical signals from the optical fiber 121 or the like into electric signals. |
