<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a photopolymerization composition for a light shielding film which is excellent in sensitivity, resolution and developability and by which a black matrix having a high light shielding rate can be manufactured with high accuracy by containing a multifunctional thiol compound in a photopolymerization initiator system, and containing a black pigment in a color material. SOLUTION: A photopolymerization composition for a color filter contains a binder resin, a compound having at least a single ethylenic unsaturated double bond, a photopolymerization initiator system, a color material and a solvent. This photopolymerization initiator system contains a multifunctional thiol compound, and the color material contains a black pigment. An aliphatic multifunctional thiol compound is desirable as the multifunctional thiol compound. The black pigment is contained by 20 to 80wt.% to the whole solid quantity of the photopolymerization composition. The photopolymerization initiator system also contains at least one kind of compound selected from a biimidazole compound, a titanocene compound, a triazine compound and an oxadiazole compound or sensitizing pigment containing this compound and an amino group.</p> |
