PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To ensure miniaturization of an air conditioner and facilitate mounting/demounting of an air fan without the need of providing a space inside the air conditioner for an operation space of a tool for mounting/demounting the air fan. SOLUTION: An air fan mounting structure for an air conditioner is adapted such that it includes an air fan flange 4 mounted on a discharge outlet 6 in an air fan casing 5, a spacer 7 mounted on the air fan flange 4 in which there is machined a female screw 7a or a male screw 7b, a bolt 8 or a bolt/nut 9, and an air fan flange receptacle 3 mounted on an outer periphery back surface of an opening 2 in an outer panel 1. A bolt 8 is screwed into the spacer 7 inserted into a spacer throughhole provided in the air fan flange pedestal 3 from the outside of the outer panel 1 or the bolt/nut 9 is threaded to the spacer 7 protruded to an outer surface of the outer panel 1 to fix the air fan flange 4 to the air fan flange pedestal 3. |
